You can enter either online or by post. Follow the instructions below for your chosen method of entry.

Enter online

  1. Pay the entry fee ($33) using our secure online payment system (click the red Paymate Express button below). Remember the receipt number. (NB. The first field asks for the recipient’s email address which is hunterwriterscentre@gmail.com.)
  2. Enter online here. Online entry is simple: you’ll be asked to input your contact details, record your payment receipt number and attach your entry as a Word document or PDF.


Pay with Paymate Express

If you can’t use Paymate because you don’t have a credit card, you can direct deposit:

Reference: Use your name and also include this in the ‘Paymate receipt number’ field of the online entry form.

Or enter by post

  1. Download an entry form here (then fill out and print).
  2. Print 3 x copies of your poem.
  3. Include a cheque (made out to Hunter Writers’ Centre) for the entry fee of $33.
  4. Mail the entry form, 3 x copies of your poem and cheque to Hunter Writers’ Centre, PO Box 71, Hamilton, NSW, 2303, Australia. You can also direct debit (details above).
