The Newcastle Poetry Prize would not be possible without the generous support of the University of Newcastle and Newcastle City Council.

The University of Newcastle has been the major sponsor of the Prize since 2005.

Newcastle City Council has funded the Prize for over a decade.

The Coordinator of the Newcastle Poetry Prize reports to a committee comprised of representatives from the sponsoring and administering organisations.
